Learning Programmes
The Kids Taskforce is committed to reaching every child in the UK with the missdorothy.com and Watch Over Me learning programmes by 2010. These schemes have been created following extensive research across the country with young people and professionals involved in child safety. Each stage of the programme focuses on safety issues at an age-appropriate level and many topics are revisited every year to reinforce important messages.
Police officers, firefighters and football coaches are encouraged to get involved in the missdorothy.com and Watch Over me programmes, supporting the class teacher and helping to deliver relevant safety messages in an engaging way.
